Cinematic Arts - Cinema Studies, Minor

Offerend in collaboration with the English program. Students will study the history and theory of film and film criticism, with an emphasis on anallytical thinking and writing. Films from both the US and global canon are used as source material, and students are encouraged to explore their own original areas of scholarly research related to film critique.

18 Units, 9 of which must be upper division. Open to all majors EXCEPT Cinema Arts. Minor is offered in collaboaration with the English program.
