This program will be broad in scope but with a regional focus, making use of the exceptional archaeological resources in the Texas Big Bend to enhance student learning and accelerate Big Bend research to a world class level. Students will develop familiarity with the intricacies of Cultural Resource Management, collections curation, human evolution, ethnographic records, data recovery and analysis, and archaeological field and lab methods.
