The MEd General is designed to allow students to choose a specialization that is built upon a foundation of four core courses in education. Students work with the program coordinator to select their areas of specialization.  Students may select graduate level courses in any academic discipline including teacher certification.

Students work with the program coordinator to select their area of interest among all academic disciplines that offer graduate courses. Specializations will vary for each student.

Program Requirements


Required courses: 12

Area of Specialization: 18

Area of Specialization: 18 Credit Hours


Students will select 18 credits in their area of specialization to complete the 30 credits degree program.

Notes:


Students must have a 3.0 GPA to graduate with no grade lower than a C.

Comprehensive Exam required for graduation.

Most courses are online, depending upon the discipline selected.
