The Applied Economics Capstone is the culminating experience of the Master of Arts in Economics program, providing students with the opportunity to integrate and demonstrate the knowledge and skills acquired throughout their coursework. In this course, students design and complete substantial research or applied project addressing a contemporary economic, business, or policy challenge. Projects may focus on areas such as market forecasting, public policy evaluation, international trade, monetary systems, or organizational strategy. By the end of the course, students will have created a comprehensive, original project that showcases their ability to connect economic theory with applied analysis and decision-making.
