Econometrics provides students with the tools to transform economic theory into evidence-based analysis. The course introduces and advances methods for estimating economic relationships, testing hypotheses, and forecasting outcomes using real-world data. Emphasis is placed on regression analysis, model specification, identification, and interpretation of results in applied contexts. Students gain practical experience using statistical software to analyze economic data and learn how econometric methods inform decision-making in business, policy, and research. By the end of the course, students will be prepared to conduct independent empirical research and critically interpret quantitative findings presented by others.
