MATH 0342 - Intro Statistical Methods

This course is designed for students whose score on an approved assessment instrument does not meet minimum requirements on the mathematics portions of the assessment. Students who wish to earn a B.S. degree take MATH 1342. Topics included in the course are Collection, analysis, presentation and interpretation of data, and probability. Analysis includes descriptive statistics, correlation and regression, confidence intervals and hypothesis-testing. Credit in this course cannot be used to satisfy requirements for any degree.
