This course will serve as capstone course focusing on construction project management covering concepts of project selection, estimating, bidding, scheduling, subcontracting practices, cost controls, project documentation, construction bonds, insurance, payments and the elements of project close out. Students will also be introduced to the field of program management. This course provides the opportunity to review and integrate skills and knowledge taught in the entire program. It provides an exercise in which the students develop a formal written proposal and present heir proposal to a panel of industry professionals. It will also provide for the development of professional communication skills through prepared multi-media presentations.
