This course is designed to provide the student an introduction to construction related financial documents. Emphasis is placed on creating schedule of values, labor and operations cost reports, income statements, balance sheets and construction budgets; Students are also introduced to the techniques required to effectively monitor the financial aspects of a construction project. The students will have the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities and knowledge while learning many of the vital elements and challenges that projects teams face in the development and execution of a construction project, while also learning of the processes and systems available to them from pre-construction to closeout.
