EDUA 6307 - School Public Relations Credit Hours: 3 Contact Hours Lecture: 3 Contact Hours Lab: 0
A course designed to acquaint the school administrator and the teacher with the techniques of dealing with all stakeholders in such a way as to allow an intelligent understanding of the aims, the scope, the achievements and the problems of an educational program. A course that provides an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of administration that includes knowledge of legal and ethical issues and requirements for principals and school staff; professional knowledge and skills needed for communicating and collaborating with professional colleagues, the community, the families; and the importance of family involvement in children’s education. Must be admitted to the Instructional Leadership Program.
