This course will prove an overview of pharmacological medications and the abnormal behaviors for which they may be prescribed. The goals of this course are to introduce basic terminology and models of pharmacokinetics as they relate to clinical mental health counseling as well as to examine diagnostic criteria in light of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
