Students will examine the developments and changes on the criminal justice system as a result of technology advancements and the introduction of computer-related crime. Discussions will include how criminals profit from technology, cybercrimes against persons, property, and institutions, and how criminal justices (law enforcement, prosecutors, courts, and corrections) have evolved to address cybercrime.
Prerequisites: CJ 1301 or CJ 1302 Equivalencies: CRIM 3322
