CHEM 4301 - Biochemistry I

Students will study the structure and function of amino acids, proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, nucleotides and nucleic acids. This course also introduces biological membranes, membrane transport, enzyme kinetics, enzyme regulation, DNA replication, transcription and RNA translation.

Prerequisites: CHEM 3407
