A comprehensive introduction to the microbiology of pathogenic organisms in the medical and veterinary microbiology, the immune response and pathogenesis, principles of laboratory diagnosis, bacteriology, virology, mycology, and parasitology. Laboratory will focus on specimen collection and diagnostic methods.
