ANSC 3312 - Equine Excercise Physiology

This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of the physiological and environmental factors associated with the athletic performance of horses. This course will cover adaption of the respiratory, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, thermo-regulatory, and support systems to training and exercise. Conditioning methods and common athletic injuries will also be discussed. Offered fall only.
