This course is designed to continue the nutrition education with an emphasis on biochemical pathways and metabolic control of nutrient partitioning. Glycolysis, TCA cycle, Urea cycle, Gluconeogenesis, and additional metabolic pathways will be discussed as well as nutrient metabolism and ruminant specific metabolism related to VFAs.
