MTED 2311 - Foundations of Elementary Math II

Second course in a series of two required math education content sequence for preservice elementary and middle school teachers. This course focuses on developing effective pedagogy approaches to make math meaningful in elementary and middle school math classrooms. Topics covered include best practices in math education instruction. The following TEA math competencies will be addressed: geometric concepts, probability, statistics, measurement concepts, problem solving, professional growth and development.
