Animal Science, MS

The Master of Science degree requiring a thesis, emphasizes, through the mastery of advanced technology, methods of improving and/or better utilization of agricultural resources. The graduate program is designed to prepare students for advanced education (Ph.D.) and/or for careers in teaching, extension service, research, management, and other occupations requiring the higher-level capabilities of resource managers or scientists.

MS Animal Science Student Learning Outcomes (SLO)

Students will be able to demonstrate their knowledge of advanced concepts in animal science.
Students will be able to evaluate literature and references to substantiate the applied research project.
Students will be able to apply statistical concepts and procedures to research.
