The Master of Science degree requiring a thesis, emphasizes, through the mastery of advanced technology, methods of improving and/or better utilization of agricultural resources. The graduate program is designed to prepare students for advanced education (Ph.D.) and/or for careers in teaching, extension service, research, management, and other occupations requiring the higher-level capabilities of resource managers or scientists.
MS Animal Science Student Learning Outcomes (SLO)
- Students will be able to demonstrate their knowledge of advanced concepts in animal science.
- Students will be able to evaluate literature and references to substantiate the applied research project.
- Students will be able to apply statistical concepts and procedures to research.
