There are 3 different areas of concentration for the major which are:
- Law Enforcement & Corrections
- Law
- Homeland Security and Cybercrime.
BS Criminal Justice Student Learning Outcomes (SLO)
- Students will demonstrate proficiency in the application of legal concepts, theoretical applications, scientific principles, legal liabilities, historical trends, and emerging issues in the criminal justice arena.
- Students will demonstrate competency in the application of basic research methods to include: research design, statistical analysis, and uses of empirical findings and interpretations.
- Students will demonstrate the application of organizational principles, cultural, social and behavioral knowledge, critical thinking skills and cognitive thought processes within the criminal justice arena.

Criminal Justice Major Electives: 12 Credits
