This course examines the ethical, legal, and societal issues surrounding the use of computing technology. Topics include privacy, intellectual property, professional responsibility, security, and bias in algorithms. Students will analyze real-world case studies and emerging challenges in areas such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and digital rights. Emphasis is placed on developing an ethical framework for decision-making and understanding the responsibilities of computing professionals in society.
