A course providing an overview of key aspects of the American Educational System including: Curriculum models and assessment, educator standards, the Texas Administrative Code, legal case studies, and the Educator Code of Ethics. Participants will review local, state, and national policies as they impact PK-12 education.

Prerequisites: Completion of Blocks I and II; EDSR/EDUA 3302, EDSR/EDUA 3303, EDSR/EDUA 4314, and EDSR/EDUA 4322
Equivalencies: EDSR 3300
