This course examines core economic principles, focusing on demand and supply, elasticities, government intervention and welfare, market failures, such as externalities, public goods, and asymmetric information. It also explores firm behavior in various market structures-such as perfect competition, monopolistic competition, oligopoly, and monopoly-highlighting their effects on pricing and output decisions. (BBA Core Course).
