An introduction to the theory and phenomena of social psychology. The nature and effect of social influences on individuals and groups. Types of social influences and the various methods used to study them. Topics include social cognition, conformity, obedience, persuasion and propaganda, attribution, aggression, prejudice, liking, loving, and helping.
Prerequisites: PSY 1302 or the equivalent, or consent of instructor Equivalencies: PSY 3301
