Progression to advanced health/illness conditions is the focus of this course for each component of nursing care across all ages in the life span. Understanding biological changes consistent with advancing conditions including influences of behavioral, psychological, cultural environmental and ethnicity variables are incorporated in this course. Simulation lab experiences provide the opportunity to demonstrate planning and implementation of nursing care for life-threatening conditions in all ages. Contrary cases which depict conditions of differential diagnosis challenges nursing management skills.
