Credit Hours
The value here is credit value for the course. It represents both the billing hours you will be charged when you enroll and the semester credit hours you will earn upon completion of the course.
Contact Hours Lecture
Lecture contact hours are the hours per week students are required to spend in contact with faculty in a lecture setting, e.g., class, conference, seminar, individual instruction, private lesson, thesis or dissertation discussion, or independent study.
Contact Hours Lab
Laboratory contact hours are the number of hours per week that students are required to spend in contact with faculty in an experiential situation, e.g., laboratory clinical, practicum, internship, or student teaching.
Prerequisites
The courses listed here are the required prerequisites that must be successfully completed before enrollmnet is allowed.
Equivalencies
Listed here are equivalent courses that are either currently active on the other canpus (ALP or RGC) or a previously used course subject and/or number.

Each course is offered at either the main campus in Alpine (ALP) or at campuses in Eagle Pass, Del Rio, and Uvalde (RGC).

Course levels are freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate.
NOTE: Developmental courses (numbered 0100-0999; ED B100, ENG B100, MATH B100) are courses intended for students who lack the necessary skills for entering collegiate level courses. They are listed as a freshman level but are not considered in determining academic standing. Since these courses are pre-collegiate level, they shall not be used to satisfy any requirement for graduation. These courses are not used for computation of cumulative grade point average for graduation, determination of class standing, eligibility for the Dean’s List, or for eligibility for graduation with honors.
