This catalog provides information about the academic programs of Sul Ross State University. Included are the academic calendars; information concerning admissions, degree requirements, academic regulations, and student services; a list of the faculty and administrative officers; and the undergraduate and graduate curriculum. Every effort has been made to make this Catalog as complete and accurate as possible, and it has been prepared on the basis of the best information available at the time of publication.

Three ways to locate information

#1: Type what you are looking for in the “Catalog Search” box, located at the top left of this page.

#2: Click on “Advanced Search” to look for specific courses and/or programs.

#3: Choose from the navigation bar along the left side of the page.

Plan It!

The Degree Requirements icon is at the top of each program and provides a print-friendly version of the degree requirements as approved for the catalog year specified. Please refer to your official degree plan in Degree Works for your personal degree requirements as they may differ from the generic requirements listed here.

Create Your Personal Portfolio

The My Portfolio feature allows you to save information in your own personal folder so you can go directly to it!

1. Click on the My Portfolio link at the bottom of the left navigation bar.
2. If you are a new user, click Create an Account. You’ll type your email address and a password.  If you choose not to create an account, your information will only be saved until you close the catalog.
3. Then use the left navigation bar or the search box to find what you are looking for in the catalog.
4. When you want to save a section, click the My Portfolio link at the top right of the page.
5. The next time you go to your portfolio, your saved material will be there!
